Estas palabras de Frédéric Filloux, de The Monday Note y antiguo responsable digital del diario francés Les Echos, resumen muy bien el difuso ámbito en el que se mueve el relato informativo en los nuevos medios y el gran espacio para la innovación a la hora de contar historias y diferenciarse.
El New York Times es uno de los medios que, desde hace un tiempo, más se ha adentrado en el mundo del storytelling interactivo digital. Pero la experiencia del Times es extrapolable a medios de menor tamaño, que también experimentan con el relato y su punto de vista. El Arizona Republic logró el éxito gracias a Arizona Storytellers, una serie de eventos en los que se cuentan historias personales y conmovedoras y que se ha convertido en un lazo fuerte entre el periódico y su comunidad de lectores.
